We kept losing deals
to pricing changes nobody caught.
Mightstill started as an internal tool. We were building in the AI space and kept getting blindsided — a competitor would reprice, relaunch, or quietly pivot, and we'd find out from a customer or a sales call, never from our own research.
The problem with existing tools
There are existing tools in this space. Crayon, Klue, Kompyte. They're built for traditional enterprise sales organizations with slow-moving markets. They're also priced accordingly — and none of them are built for the pace of the AI industry.
The current workflow most teams use looks like this: bookmark the competitor's pricing page, check it every few days, hope nothing slipped through. If something does slip through, they hear about it from a customer asking for a discount match.
We wanted something that did the watching for us and told us what it meant — not a data dump, not a weekly report, but a short briefing we could act on the same day we read it.
What we built
Mightstill monitors competitor websites continuously and surfaces what changed, when it changed, and why it matters. The output is a short, structured briefing — not a raw diff, not a data dump.
The core insight is that the hard part isn't detecting changes. It's filtering the noise. A timestamp update isn't competitive intelligence. A pricing tier removal is. We use an LLM to make that distinction, and we treat the prompt like a core engineering asset.
We're building this in public, shipping fast, and talking to every customer who'll have us. If you're tracking competitors in the AI space, we'd love to hear what you're missing.
What we believe
Signal over noise
The whole product is a bet that less is more. One good alert beats ten mediocre ones. We'd rather miss something marginal than train you to ignore us.
Actionable by default
Every alert should tell you something you can do with. Not just what changed — what it means. If you can't act on it the same day you read it, we haven't done our job.
Honest about limitations
Hourly crawling isn't real-time. Some sites will block us. We tell you when that happens. We don't pretend to be something we're not.
Built for the pace of AI
Traditional competitive intelligence tools were built for markets that move quarterly. We're built for markets that move daily. That's a different product.
The team
Alex Okafor
Co-founder & CEO
Previously built competitive intelligence tooling at a Series B AI company. Watched too many deals get lost to pricing changes nobody caught.
Mia Tanaka
Co-founder & CTO
Previously led infrastructure at a developer tools company. Built the scraping and analysis pipeline that Mightstill runs on.
Sam Reyes
Product
Former PM at two AI startups. Spent years manually tracking competitors before deciding there had to be a better way.
